Why Quality Matters!
Well it really does matter to us at MPLOY Solutions and having recently had a very successful annual matrix Standard review its helped us to reflect on our services further in order to continually improve.
"The matrix Standard is a unique quality standard for organisations to assess and measure their advice and support services, which ultimately supports individuals in their choice of career, learning, work and life goals" (www.matrixstandard.com)
Here at MPLOY we apply quality assurance methods to everything we do. An example is our careers guidance services delivered by a team of level 6 advisers in a wide range of schools and colleges where the careers action plans they produce for students are quality assured according to criteria linked to matrix Standard and the Gatsby benchmarks. Also all advisers are observed actually doing the job every year again to a set of quality criteria to ensure we are delivering impartial and high quality guidance that is realistic for the student and has clear action points to be followed.
Customer satisfaction is an important part regularly gathering in feedback from all our customers such as schools, colleges, young people and employers. Our annual Customer Satisfaction report for 2017 - 18 illustrates this and here are a few examples:
- 100% of our customers thought the briefing and preparation for students was very good or excellent
- 100% of customers rated our speed of response as excellent
- 99% of students receiving careers advice rated it very good or excellent
- 100% of customers said students experience whilst out on placement was very good or excellent
Of course there are lots of areas for development too, and we have an extensive staff training programme with training running every Tuesday morning for an hour and covering a wide range of areas such as the roll out of our new MAPS digital platform, working with SEND, employer engagement and labour market information.
