With over 30 years experience in the employer engagement and education sectors, Norma has worked in public, private and voluntary organisations across the UK. Her CV includes working in retail management, apprenticeships training , careers advice and over 20 years in senior leadership roles, latterly as Director of Operations and Chief Executive of Connexions Cheshire & Warrington.

In 2012, Norma set up Mploy as a commercial enterprise to provide services for the education and skills sector.

Susan Denny

Sue had an unusual start to her career working in a laboratory growing bacteria to make biscuits! Luckily for us, she very quickly changed her path, providing careers advice and guidance to young people across the UK.

During this time, Sue moved to Connexions Greater Manchester which in turn brought her in to contact with a large FE college and this is where she went on to spend 9 years as their Director of Student Services, where she had responsibility for careers, welfare, SEND, admissions, progression and pastoral support. This coupled with her previous careers experience, means that Sue brings with her over 30 years experience.

Brian Lee

When Brian left the RAF in 1999 he wanted a job that suited family life. Brian started working within attendance and mentoring teams in schools which paved the transition to careers advice and guidance.

Brian has extensive experience working with a range of clients for over 15 years, including young and adult offenders, people with disabilities and young people from challenging backgrounds.

As well as delivering careers advice, Brian also works on a number of specialist programmes with a range of young people from 14-25.

After becoming Bar Manager at the famous ‘Warehouse Project’ in Manchester, James decided he wanted something more permanent. Having secured a customer service apprenticeship role with Manchester City Council he went on to work at the Manchester Art Gallery in the commercial team for 5 years until 2017 when he joined MPLOY, working on securing apprenticeships for young people and employer engagement for specialist and bespoke placements. He is currently a Careers Adviser operating in a variety of schools..

After graduating with a BA Honours degree in English and gaining some work experience as a Tutor and a Learning Support Assistant Fiona decided to take the Post Graduate Diploma in Career Guidance at Manchester Metropolitan University. Completing this in 2007 she started worked with Greater Merseyside Connexions Partnership as a Careers Adviser based in two Secondary schools in Sefton.
Fiona later moved into Welfare to Work and gained skills and experience as an Employability Adviser for unemployed people with disabilities.
Returning to Education in 2016, Fiona works as a Careers Adviser and is committed to delivering IAG across various year groups.
